In the 5th minute, Claris Quiroga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Fuerteventura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 13 played minutes UD Fuerteventura got a freekick which was hit by Nabar Bermejo. When Geovani Barral fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Fuerteventura's protests and gave Geovani Barral a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV booed when UD Fuerteventura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovani Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sylwester Fink's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Vazquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Stelian Beniuc made a great header on FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's corner, it was just that UD Fuerteventura's Bernardo Vazquez managed to reach the ball for a save. FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after UD Fuerteventura's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stelian Beniuc took the corner. Stelian Beniuc made a great header on FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's corner, it was just that UD Fuerteventura's Bernardo Vazquez managed to reach the ball for a save. FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stelian Beniuc in the 33rd minute. UD Fuerteventura's Bernardo Vazquez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save UD Fuerteventura from getting a goal against them. Napoleon Klewinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claris Quiroga in the 36th minute of play. Sylwester Fink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bernardo Vazquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Napoleon Klewinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claris Quiroga in the 43rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gaspar Ishmael's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Vazquez was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After the first half UD Fuerteventura were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Bernardo Vazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylwester Fink in the 59th minute of play. In the 59thth minute of the game Gaspar Ishmael who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Fuerteventura's Bernardo Vazquez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st minute Gaspar Ishmael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Vazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Vazquez came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's Mircea Cigu. But to his dismay, Mircea Cigu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's Iacob Urdea was substituted for Gaspar Ishmael. Bernardo Vazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylwester Fink in the 79th minute of play. Bernardo Vazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sylwester Fink, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Claris Quiroga kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. UD Fuerteventura's Ismael Munoz was substituted for Basilio Quintero. Claris Quiroga hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. UD Fuerteventura's Miroslaw Klose managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Iustin Pelin in the 87 minute of the game. Napoleon Klewinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claris Quiroga in the 88th minute of play. Bernardo Vazquez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iacob Urdea went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the UD Fuerteventura players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV.
