In the 15th minute, FK Partizani Tirana's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alessio Pacella fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sascha Hinz hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18thth minute of the game Korey Friedman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Partizani Tirana's Thorsten Benscheider was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, 武珂川 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Thorsten Benscheider, 1-0. 2-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Alessio Pacella elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 27 minutes into the game, Alessio Pacella lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Thorsten Benscheider. Alessio Pacella's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Thorsten Benscheider firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alessio Pacella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Thorsten Benscheider made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, BK Forward's goal looked a bit too open when Ingo Häusle came free, but Keefe Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keefe Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingo Häusle in the 35th minute of play. Thorsten Benscheider made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alessio Pacella in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, FK Partizani Tirana's goalkeeper Thorsten Benscheider had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Åke Käller. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Guido Eberl put in a rough tackle. Oskar Mellberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Thorsten Benscheider made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Åke Käller managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Forward's supporters rose to their feet, but Åke Käller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thorsten Benscheider breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Korey Friedman in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thorsten Benscheider saved FK Partizani Tirana from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of BK Forward booed when FK Partizani Tirana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christen Kovac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alessio Pacella in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thorsten Benscheider prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 88 played minutes BK Forward got a freekick which was hit by 武珂川. 91 minutes into the match, FK Partizani Tirana's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Pacella came free, but Thorsten Benscheider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Oskar Mellberg came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the BK Forward fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskar Mellberg couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Oskar Mellberg sped through FK Partizani Tirana's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thorsten Benscheider. There was no doubt that BK Forward were the better team. BK Forward's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
