Royal Antwerp F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Montserrat the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Royal Antwerp F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wannes Tielemans to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Daniel Skröder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natan Labrouche. After a rather tough play, Atlético Montserrat's Aurelio Gitano got a free kick in the 47th minute. The supporters of Royal Antwerp F.C. booed when Atlético Montserrat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Gitano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-9 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wannes Tielemans was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Michael Owen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Natan Labrouche was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Natan Labrouche was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Konstanty Galagan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 60 minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Zula Jajesniak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. That made the score 0-15 in the 75 minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Zula Jajesniak notched a goal, 0-16, to the right of Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Natan Labrouche. Natan Labrouche was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 0-17 became the score in the 87th minute when Zula Jajesniak elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Zula Jajesniak came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Atlético Montserrat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zula Jajesniak couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Atlético Montserrat's Robert Boruta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Natan Labrouche. Natan Labrouche yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-18. 95 minutes into the match, Royal Antwerp F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zula Jajesniak came free, but Natan Labrouche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
