Apolo Herensuge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damian Aluculesei's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. If Clarence Seedorf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ionel Noica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ture Rosendahl in the 17th minute of the match. Ionel Noica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caio Silveira in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Caio Silveira could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Ionel Noica however easily saved by the left post. Apolo Herensuge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Demian in the 27th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Olteanu in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apolo Herensuge saved PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ from getting behind. Apolo Herensuge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Olteanu's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Caio Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ionel Noica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionel Noica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio Silveira in the 43rd minute of the match. Erling Mattsson kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Aluculesei made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Demian in the 59th minute of play forced PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goalkeeper Apolo Herensuge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caio Silveira in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ionel Noica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Demian in the 64th minute of play forced PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goalkeeper Apolo Herensuge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 played minutes PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by João Arruda. Ionel Noica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute of the match PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ got a corner. Bichigiu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erling Mattsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Erling Mattsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bichigiu's Ionel Noica did a great save. Bichigiu's Ionel Noica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Azevedo in the 86th minute of play. Matías Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionel Noica having to interfere. Ionel Noica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matías Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ture Rosendahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bichigiu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
