In the 2nd minute, Iosif Gurlui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute of the match, Jacek Kazimierz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zsigmond Pál saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 6th minute of the match Legia Warszawa 【L】 got a corner. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bogdan Poreda ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Lech Porajewski managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Cezary Kucharskis short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Zsigmond Pál to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s Zsigmond Pál proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Baia Mare -MM- from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezary Kucharski in the 16th minute of play forced F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Zsigmond Pál to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Cezary Kucharski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zsigmond Pál saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zsigmond Pál showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezary Kucharski, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With a little luck, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s Zsigmond Pál got control of the ball when Cezary Kucharski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marek Sagan got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 22nd match minute before Zsigmond Pál had time to react. Zsigmond Pál made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacek Kazimierz in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute Bogdan Poreda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zsigmond Pál saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s Zsigmond Pál played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Poreda in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Cezary Kucharski came free, but Zsigmond Pál reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Zsigmond Pál had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cezary Kucharski. Zsigmond Pál was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Bogdan Poreda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bogdan Poreda really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. With an all-out effort, Legia Warszawa 【L】's Zsigmond Pál threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cezary Kucharski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The wind increased when George Buzoianu made the kick off in the second half. Cezary Kucharski took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zsigmond Pál. Zsigmond Pál dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Legia Warszawa 【L】's Lech Latkiewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Legia Warszawa 【L】 from getting a goal against them. Lech Latkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Gurlui in the 75th minute of the match. Zsigmond Pál came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Legia Warszawa 【L】's Cezary Kucharski. But to his dismay, Cezary Kucharski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Jacek Kazimierz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Zsigmond Pál tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89thth minute of the game Jacek Kazimierz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s Zsigmond Pál was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zsigmond Pál took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Sagan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Legia Warszawa 【L】 were the better team. Legia Warszawa 【L】's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
