The corner led REMALIA's Panos Pitsikoulakis to fire away a dangerous shot which Adriano Penha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 10th minute Hélio Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kleanthis Savouridis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by REMALIA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luisão Mota was slow to take the kick. During this time Jumentus's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Jumentus's corner Luisão Mota fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kleanthis Savouridis quite easily take care of the ball. After 22 minutes, Damaso Aires mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the REMALIA and the Jumentus players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, REMALIA's Damaso Aires got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 26 minutes into the game, Jumentus's Tião Zanette nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kleanthis Savouridis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Cássio Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Kleanthis Savouridis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kleanthis Savouridis was a little too slow when Hélio Corrêa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-0. Tasos Tevekelis hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The supporters of REMALIA booed when Jumentus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wambasther Ferdinand didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Panos Pitsikoulakis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adriano Penha showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 44 played minutes REMALIA got a freekick which was hit by Tasos Tevekelis. In the 45th minute, Severino Chagavia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cássio Velasco to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Thodoris Vrotsos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. REMALIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thodoris Vrotsos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damaso Aires kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Velasco in the 56th minute of play forced REMALIA's goalkeeper Kleanthis Savouridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kleanthis Savouridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélio Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Jumentus's Adriano Penha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Jumentus from getting a goal against them. Damaso Aires kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Fotis Ikonomou charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fotis Ikonomou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Jumentus a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luisão Mota, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of REMALIA's Kleanthis Savouridis. 4-0. Hélio Corrêa struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Kleanthis Savouridis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jumentus. With his leg Adriano Penha managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when REMALIA's Thodoris Vrotsos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Velasco in the 91st minute of play forced REMALIA's goalkeeper Kleanthis Savouridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélio Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Hélio Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jumentus fans cheered their team off the field, for while REMALIA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
