Manoel Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Stenman in the 6th minute of play. Freddy Cordarrell might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dennis Josefsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Freddy Cordarrell ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Cordarrell in the 7th minute of play forced Lillbo BK's goalkeeper Dennis Josefsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Mavericks's Emerson Tande got a free kick in the 9th minute. Sport Club Mavericks's Manoel Peixoto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Club Mavericks from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Manoel Peixoto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Frisck. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Mark Stenman took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Manoel Peixoto to make any attempt to save it. Jesper Jansson's late challenge caught a Sport Club Mavericks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesper Jansson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sport Club Mavericks booed when Lillbo BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesper Jansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dennis Josefsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Lopez in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Sport Club Mavericks's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mark Stenman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sport Club Mavericks made a substitution. Deivid Fantini replaced Guilherme Abudi. Mark Stenmans short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Manoel Peixoto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 44th match minute, Sport Club Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Cordarrell to maneuver through the defense. After 45 played minutes Lillbo BK got a freekick which was hit by Mark Stenman. In the 47th minute, Waldemar Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Lillbo BK booed when Sport Club Mavericks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zézinho Lopez made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Mark Stenman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manoel Peixoto was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Dennis Josefsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredão Paiva in the 59th minute of play. Manoel Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino Tonić, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After taking down the ball on Sport Club Mavericks's corner Freddy Cordarrell fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dennis Josefsson quite easily take care of the ball. Manoel Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Frisck, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 94thth minute of the game Mark Stenman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sport Club Mavericks's Manoel Peixoto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lillbo BK's Dennis Josefsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Cordarrell in the 97th minute of play. Lillbo BK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
