No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Alianza Trujillo's Tomas Brandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Monni in the 62nd minute of play. Aleksander Birkenhagen succeeded in the game's 63rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulryk Miazga in the 68th minute of play forced Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Tomas Brandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alianza Trujillo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlo Monni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-4. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Śląsk Bytom fans cheered their team off the field, for while Alianza Trujillo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
