The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Damazy Polek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 4 minutes into the game, Cornel Braniște recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Steven Schuster. Cornel Braniște showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Borja Yebra took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Steven Schuster to make any attempt to save it. Christian Weigelt's late challenge caught a MZ Wodzisław Śląski's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Weigelt helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Żywiec's Christian Weigelt got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 16th play minutes Damazy Polek shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Steven Schuster and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 30thth minute of the game Damazy Polek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Żywiec's Steven Schuster was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Damazy Polek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Steven Schuster was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Steven Schuster stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pawel Karanowski's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Pawel Karanowski didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 36th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Pawel Karanowski ran dejectedly back to his position. In the 38th minute Borja Yebra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven Schuster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pawel Karanowski got free with Steven Schuster in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Damazy Polek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Steven Schuster was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damazy Polek to make the kick off. Steven Schuster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borja Yebra, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Damazy Polek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Żywiec's Steven Schuster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstanty Dudek in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Pawel Karanowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MZ Wodzisław Śląski fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Steven Schuster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pawel Karanowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, FC Żywiec's goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Polek came free, but Steven Schuster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Jaroslaw Siedlecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Weigelt in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute Konstanty Dudek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven Schuster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, FC Żywiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wolf Demmel to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstanty Dudek in the 85th minute of play forced FC Żywiec's goalkeeper Steven Schuster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steven Schuster came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Pawel Karanowski. But to his dismay, Pawel Karanowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Steven Schuster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pawel Karanowski in the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Juliusz Kazimierz made a precise shot to the right of Steven Schuster. FC Żywiec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Steven Schuster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borja Yebra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MZ Wodzisław Śląski walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
