When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Moita made a kick off. Rob Kort stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Teuwen's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Rob Kort made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mirko Haar in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Pascal Som hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Biervliet's Henry Bakker was substituted for Bart Pik. Robert Teuwen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rob Kort read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Robert Teuwen might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rob Kort. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Teuwen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute Robert Teuwen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rob Kort saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lukas Josten kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Julian Stuber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ab van Zwam in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Edgar Merenga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julian Stuber, 2-2. Edgar Merenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Julian Stuber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
