An unexpectedly hard shot by Furkan Kaşif in the 20th minute of play forced EdirneSpor's goalkeeper Sari Kanarya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Mehmet Demirer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brun Thing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, EdirneSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Furkan Kaşif came free, but Sari Kanarya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 played minutes ÇANSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Miladin Filov. In the 43rd minute, Czeslaw Borcz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sari Kanarya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cuma Akergin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sari Kanarya came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by ÇANSPOR's Furkan Kaşif. But to his dismay, Furkan Kaşif quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Furkan Kaşif to strike the kick off in the second half. 63 minutes in the game Levent Akgüneş did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to İnanç Erakıncı. Ömür Necat was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. ÇANSPOR were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after EdirneSpor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cuma Akergin took the corner. Klement Wodaszak was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Sari Kanarya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Furkan Kaşif in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute Yaman Tamer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brun Thing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Silva hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Brun Thing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Demirer in the 84th minute of the match. Furkan Kaşif sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 92 played minutes EdirneSpor got a freekick which was hit by Servet Ciner. ÇANSPOR's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
