After 5 played minutes Piao FC got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Pinheiro. With his leg Durval Soares managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when KS Bukowe's Gianluca Lapadula fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marian Mondrowski kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, KS Bukowe's Lukasz Walczyk got a free kick in the 15th minute. Gianluca Lapadula might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Durval Soares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gianluca Lapadula ran back to his position shaking his head. Durval Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Lapadula in the 20th minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Renato Aragão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS Bukowe's Jerzy Dudek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Renato Aragão sped through KS Bukowe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jerzy Dudek. Jerzy Dudek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Vital, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Mariano Vital shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Dudek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durval Soares came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by KS Bukowe's Gianluca Lapadula. But to his dismay, Gianluca Lapadula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Aldo Calçada hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gianluca Lapadula to strike the kick off in the second half. Durval Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Lapadula, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The audience was convinced that Gianluca Lapadula's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Durval Soares was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. If Renato Aragão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piao FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abílio Pedroso in the 59th minute. Durval Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Lapadula in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Vital in the 83rd minute of play forced KS Bukowe's goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KS Bukowe's Marian Mondrowski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aldo Calçada in the 87 minute of the game. Jerzy Dudek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Vital in the 91st minute of the match. Marian Mondrowski charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marian Mondrowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marian Mondrowski kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Pedro Damásio came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jerzy Dudek could save by the left post. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. KS Bukowe were victorious despite being under pressure from Piao FC for much of the match.
