Ondino Fabres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesario Irazu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, CORINTHIANS's Ondino Fabres got control of the ball when Cesario Irazu tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Ondino Fabres threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Francesco Figueroa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 13 minutes into the game, Urtsín Dumont was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CORINTHIANS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Pipon Pipon the free kick. In the 17th minute Nicky Bryson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ondino Fabres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, CORINTHIANS's Basílio Mangueira got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Basílio Mangueira fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CORINTHIANS's protests and gave Basílio Mangueira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Basílio Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, CORINTHIANS's Ondino Fabres got control of the ball when Nicky Bryson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nicky Bryson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ondino Fabres was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by CORINTHIANS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pipon Pipon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicky Bryson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ondino Fabres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicky Bryson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ondino Fabres made a huge save. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Estevan Aranguea in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, CORINTHIANS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute of the match, Nicky Bryson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ondino Fabres was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francesco Figueroa made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, CORINTHIANS's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Figueroa came free, but Ondino Fabres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ondino Fabres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicky Bryson, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Jannes Ruttens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Estevan Aranguea in the 61st minute of the match. Pipon Pipon's Cesario Irazu got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CORINTHIANS made a substitution. CORINTHIANS's Ondino Fabres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicky Bryson in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of C. A. Pipon Pipon booed when CORINTHIANS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urtsín Dumont didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute of the match Al Whatley sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ondino Fabres skillfully saved the ball. Ondino Fabres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesario Irazu in the 80th minute of play. Ondino Fabres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merlin Riley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ondino Fabres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merlin Riley in the 88th minute of the match. If Malcolm McIntosh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CORINTHIANS's Ondino Fabres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesario Irazu in the 92nd minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Malcolm McIntosh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. Pipon Pipon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Ondino Fabres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm McIntosh, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. C. A. Pipon Pipon walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
