In the 9th match minute, Atlético de Blumenau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jânio Massa to maneuver through the defense. Amedeo Mameli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Kuido Undusk made a huge save. In the 13th minute Hermelando Coello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murillo Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Atlético de Blumenau defense, Hermelando Coello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Murillo Peixoto. The Atlético de Blumenau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Murillo Peixoto should have stopped the shot. Murillo Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernd Valckenaerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes Atlético de Blumenau's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hermelando Coello who took care of the corner kick. Amedeo Mameli who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Kuido Undusk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bernd Valckenaerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Peixoto having to interfere. In the 27thth minute of the game Hermelando Coello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético de Blumenau's Murillo Peixoto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Bernd Valckenaerts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Murillo Peixoto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hermelando Coello went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 42 minutes of play, Les Presidents FC's Hermelando Coello made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Murillo Peixoto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Murillo Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durval Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Atlético de Blumenau players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Les Presidents FC were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Hermelando Coello made the kick off in the second half. Bernd Valckenaerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Peixoto having to interfere. Kuido Undusk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amedeo Mameli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kuido Undusk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Mameli, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Durval Aparecido took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Murillo Peixoto. Murillo Peixoto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. A collision led to Les Presidents FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Salvador Malheiro hit a great ball. Kuido Undusk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Mameli in the 77th minute of play. Kuido Undusk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Mameli in the 80th minute of the match. Murillo Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermelando Coello in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Hermelando Coello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Murillo Peixoto. Atlético de Blumenau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermelando Coello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Nic Van Gestelt kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 87 minutes, Frans Beckenbauer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético de Blumenau and the Les Presidents FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 87 played minutes Atlético de Blumenau got a freekick which was hit by Frans Beckenbauer. Murillo Peixoto came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Les Presidents FC's Durval Aparecido. But to his dismay, Durval Aparecido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. 94 minutes into the match, Les Presidents FC's Bernd Valckenaerts sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Murillo Peixoto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Les Presidents FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
