When Policarpio Lama got free in front of the goal in the 6th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Apat Reina was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Apat Reina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tormaigh Cassin, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Policarpio Lama received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Apat Reina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 minutes of play, Retumbante FC's José Paulo Mendonça made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artur Boruc was left in no man's land by his defense there! José Paulo Mendonça came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Artur Boruc could save by the left post. In the 20th minute, Retumbante FC's José Paulo Mendonça ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Artur Boruc. Artur Boruc yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 24th minute Policarpio Lama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apat Reina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Rayo Bengala defense, Kauã Mandrak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Boruc. The Rayo Bengala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Boruc should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Kauã Mandrak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Boruc was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Retumbante FC's Eurico Galvão got a free kick in the 40th minute. Teodosio Lorenzo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apat Reina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Kauã Mandrak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Artur Boruc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 47 minutes into the match, Retumbante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Policarpio Lama came free, but Apat Reina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Retumbante FC's Naldo Sabóia was substituted for Basílio Cearense. After a defensive mix-up in Retumbante FC's zone, Policarpio Lama stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apat Reina came out of the goal and Policarpio Lama tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Paulo Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Retumbante FC's Apat Reina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Retumbante FC from getting a goal against them. 63 minutes into the match, Rayo Bengala's goal looked a bit too open when José Paulo Mendonça came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Julen Castellano came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Rayo Bengala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julen Castellano couldn't finish the play. Apat Reina made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Tormaigh Cassin sent off a good shot on target. Rayo Bengala made a substitution. Macabeo Sampil replaced Tormaigh Cassin. Naldo Sabóia kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Apat Reina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Macabeo Sampil in the 81st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Julen Castellano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Apat Reina. That made the score 6-1 in the 83 minute of play. A collision led to Retumbante FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Eurico Galvão hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Fabinho Bittencourt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Boruc was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Artur Boruc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabinho Bittencourt's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. After 94 minutes, Nerio Etxeberria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rayo Bengala and the Retumbante FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nerio Etxeberria kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Retumbante FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rayo Bengala for a fine match.
