Roben Meersman had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Bernabe Aureo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 26th minute, El Golden Volvió!'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bernabe Aureo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Bernabe Aureo put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Roben Meersman. If Geronimo Isidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernabe Aureo got free with Roben Meersman in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 37 minutes El Golden Volvió!'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernabe Aureo who took care of the corner kick. Cochisuma's Bernabe Aureo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roben Meersman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severiano Fresco during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Severiano Fresco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in El Golden Volvió!'s zone, Saturnino Paez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roben Meersman came out of the goal and Saturnino Paez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, El Golden Volvió!'s goalkeeper Roben Meersman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saturnino Paez. Bernabe Aureo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roben Meersman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Roben Meersman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bernabe Aureo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roben Meersman having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Severiano Fresco made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cochisuma getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Damian Deunoro hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute Julio Lain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roben Meersman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Bihar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Fresco in the 55th minute of the match. If Julio Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
