Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ellis Pears made the kick off which started today's match. Alexsandro Oliveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilson Fraser read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Odon in the 7th minute of play forced Progresso FC's goalkeeper Konrad Gardocki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Nilson Fraser managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Progresso FC's Alexsandro Oliveira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alexsandro Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Nilson Fraser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute Rob Porteus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrad Gardocki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Ayla FC's Nilson Fraser got control of the ball when Alexsandro Oliveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Konrad Gardocki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rob Porteus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ian Correia in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nilson Fraser, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Breno Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Fraser having to interfere. In the 30th minute of the match Progresso FC got a corner. Ayla FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Norberto Romero ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Progresso FC's Norberto Romero to fire away a dangerous shot which Nilson Fraser despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Ian Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Progresso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ian Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ian Correia fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Progresso FC's protests and gave Ian Correia a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Progresso FC's Ian Correia got a free kick in the 34th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Andrew Riley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ayla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Progresso FC the free kick. A collision led to Ayla FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jack Argoud hit a great ball. Konrad Gardocki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brayden Duggan in the 44th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Ellis Pears ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Konrad Gardocki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexsandro Oliveira was the one to do the kick off. If Ivan Odon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilson Fraser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Correia in the 56th minute of play. Filipe do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Progresso FC's Konrad Gardocki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Odon in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Progresso FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Amílton Talló hit a great ball. Ivan Odon struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Konrad Gardocki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ayla FC. If Ian Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute of the match, Rob Porteus got a very nice opportunity to score, but Konrad Gardocki was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 73rd match minute, Ayla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrew Riley to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ayla FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Brayden Duggan hit a great ball. Ian Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the game, Jack Argoud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ayla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Progresso FC the free kick. Progresso FC's Maicon de Moraes was substituted for Tobias Falkrantz. Ian Correia got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ian Correia hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Progresso FC got a corner. Ayla FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Norberto Romero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ellis Pears received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Konrad Gardocki came out and tried to block the shot, but Ellis Pears slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 94th minute. Rob Porteus hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Ayla FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ayla FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
