In the 14th minute, ACCAM's Izar Irureta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Eladio Muro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Vedeja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Atilano Rojas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loja S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Loja S.C. getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Fabricio Vedeja hit a great ball. Loja S.C.'s Joel Caton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Loja S.C. from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Izar Irureta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Caton was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Izar Irureta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Caton having to make a save. Izar Irureta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Joel Caton made a huge save. A very good opportunity. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Zabal Ingueros charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zabal Ingueros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zabal Ingueros hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Izar Irureta scored 3-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Caton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Victorien Sévérac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Izar Irureta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes Loja S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zabal Ingueros. A throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game was made by Zabal Ingueros with Fabricio Vedeja as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 65th minute Izar Irureta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Caton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Izar Irureta might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Caton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Loja S.C.. Loja S.C.:s Joel Caton showed great skill when he stopped Al Sert:s penalty. Joel Caton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izar Irureta in the 85th minute of the match. Reasco Landeros kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Izar Irureta in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Caton saved Loja S.C. from getting behind. Reasco Landeros hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Izar Irureta might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Caton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Izar Irureta ran back to his position shaking his head. 94 minutes into the match, Loja S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Izar Irureta came free, but Joel Caton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Caton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorien Sévérac in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ACCAM fans cheered their team off the field, for while Loja S.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
