When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Raimundo Tupper put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Josef MacDonald. The audience was convinced that Yan Zhi Chuan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josef MacDonald was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Tupper in the 9th minute of play forced Rakow Czestochowa's goalkeeper Josef MacDonald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Raimundo Tupper in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rakow Czestochowa's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Rakow Czestochowa getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Nazaire Klein hit a great ball. After 16 minutes of play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Raimundo Tupper made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Josef MacDonald was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Club Deportes Santa Cruz fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Raimundo Tupper looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rakow Czestochowa's Josef MacDonald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Tupper in the 22nd minute of play. Basilio Demanet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Josef MacDonald made a huge save. Josef MacDonald stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimundo Tupper's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raimundo Tupper in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josef MacDonald saved Rakow Czestochowa from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Basilio Demanet got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Josef MacDonald quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Josef MacDonald had great luck who in the 31stth minute grab hold of the ball when Raimundo Tupper from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Raimundo Tupper in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rakow Czestochowa's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Raimundo Tupper put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Josef MacDonald. Josef MacDonald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Tupper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Jacinto Gebhard was substituted for Podador Raheiro. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raimundo Tupper to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Raimundo Tupper who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rakow Czestochowa's Josef MacDonald was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's attentive Juan Estevan Hamdorf managed to snatch the ball when Isiah Starr made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. Josef MacDonald stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yan Zhi Chuan's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Josef MacDonald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Zhi Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yan Zhi Chuan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Josef MacDonald having to make a save. Josef MacDonald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Zhi Chuan in the 73rd minute of play. If Yan Zhi Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yan Zhi Chuan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Josef MacDonald having to make a save. In the 84thth minute of the game Yan Zhi Chuan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rakow Czestochowa's Josef MacDonald was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yan Zhi Chuan in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josef MacDonald saved Rakow Czestochowa from getting behind. 95 minutes into the match, Rakow Czestochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Zhi Chuan came free, but Josef MacDonald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Raimundo Tupper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
