Filiberto Tello started the match with the kick off. C.A.U.V.K's Roger Short played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Tello in the 5th minute of play. Filiberto Tello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger Short read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A.U.V.K's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Enrico Luciano was slow to take the kick. During this time Llenos de Magia's players had a chance to rest. Roger Short showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Tello in the 11th minute of the match. Zygmunt Turok stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guaberto Roldan's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Zygmunt Turok made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Oalo in the 20th minute of play. The corner led to Llenos de Magia's Nicolás De La Cruz getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Roger Short took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Tello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Llenos de Magia's Eloy Oihan got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.U.V.K's goalkeeper Roger Short, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Filiberto Tello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roger Short was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filiberto Tello in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Short prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Filiberto Tello took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Roger Short to make any attempt to save it. 42 minutes into the match, Llenos de Magia's Filiberto Tello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roger Short narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urbano Castulo to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Filiberto Tello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roger Short. C.A.U.V.K's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filiberto Tello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 54 minutes, Filiberto Tello made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. C.A.U.V.K's Roger Short tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Llenos de Magia getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Dalmacio Ilazki hit a great ball. The supporters of C.A.U.V.K booed when Llenos de Magia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Ilazki didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Filiberto Tello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roger Short made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Tello in the 61st minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match Llenos de Magia got a corner. C.A.U.V.K's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roger Short was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roger Short didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Acosta went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. When Felix Acosta came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Llenos de Magia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Acosta couldn't finish the play. Felix Acosta took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Short. Roger Short dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0.
