Independente AC were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after KV Woluwe Zaventem's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maicon Ramalho took the corner. The corner ended in Maicon Ramalho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KV Woluwe Zaventem's Ciro Javiar did a great save. Ciro Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Silvinho Corrêa scored 15-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciro Javiar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastiaan Dijkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Javiar having to interfere. Independente AC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
