Valer Onișoru came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Leeds United's 韩棋升. But to his dismay, 韩棋升 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. A collision led to PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Sorin Nicorici hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Adriano Contratas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leeds United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Valer Onișoru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Contratas in the 31st minute of play. When Leeds United's Adriano Contratas in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 李镇庭 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Valer Onișoru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Contratas in the 36th minute of play. Valer Onișoru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Freijo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Culcer kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Valer Onișoru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 肖青强 in the 39th minute of play. Gigi Bobei hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, Leeds United's Tolek Jarek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valer Onișoru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moise Ţurlău to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, 李镇庭 notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Valer Onișoru. Valer Onișoru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 54th minute, Moise Ţurlău hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, 李镇庭 notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Valer Onișoru. Valer Onișoru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Leeds United's 肖青强 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valer Onișoru. That made the score 0-13 after 64 minutes of play. When 肖青强 fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leeds United's protests and gave 肖青强 a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes Leeds United got a freekick which was hit by 肖青强. 70 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Valer Onișoru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 李镇庭. Valer Onișoru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 肖青强 in the 71st minute of play. Valer Onișoru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 肖青强 in the 74th minute of the match. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when 俞平庭 scored to the left of an out of position Valer Onișoru, making the score, 0-18. Leeds United played a much better game than PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca and deserved their victory. The PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
