An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Guerra in the 4th minute of play forced Altinova SK's goalkeeper Çelikan Onkal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Nando Guerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Çelikan Onkal. Altinova SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nando Guerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After some careless play in the Rapiduletzu defense, Gökay Kırca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavius Pușcașu. The Rapiduletzu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavius Pușcașu should have stopped the shot. Leontin Rednics short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Çelikan Onkal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Leontin Rednic made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 13thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Çelikan Onkal would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. With his leg Çelikan Onkal managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Rapiduletzu's Leontin Rednic fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristian Răchiteanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Çelikan Onkal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Răchiteanu ran back to his position shaking his head. Çelikan Onkal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leontin Rednic in the 19th minute of the match. Flavius Pușcașu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Olof Bergstedt in the 30th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Rapiduletzu got a freekick which was hit by Mugur Ivasiuc. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leontin Rednic in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Çelikan Onkal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Çelikan Onkal stood somewhat misplaced when Leontin Rednic came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 37 minute. Leontin Rednic in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Çelikan Onkal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cristian Răchiteanu spun around in front of the goal 45 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Altinova SK's goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 52 minutes of play, Altinova SK's Işıkalp Demirbaş made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavius Pușcașu was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Leontin Rednic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leontin Rednic in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Çelikan Onkal saved Altinova SK from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Răchiteanu in the 62nd minute of play forced Altinova SK's goalkeeper Çelikan Onkal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Çelikan Onkal came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rapiduletzu's Cristian Răchiteanu. But to his dismay, Cristian Răchiteanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. 70 minutes into the game, Rapiduletzu's Olimpiu Giuverdea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Çelikan Onkal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Çelikan Onkal came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Rapiduletzu's Nando Guerra. But to his dismay, Nando Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Altinova SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mugur Ivasiuc was slow to take the kick. During this time Rapiduletzu's players had a chance to rest. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gökay Kırca during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Cristian Răchiteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Cristian Răchiteanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Çelikan Onkal.
