Marlin FC's Anastasio Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Sterescu in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelino Baumer got free with Augustin Bălăiță in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mavrudi Chapalov hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Augustin Bălăiță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Baumer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelino Baumer in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augustin Bălăiță saved Gzpn Timisoara from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Augustin Bălăiță successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 22nd minute Beniamin Gongola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasio Janpier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beniamin Gongola's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelino Baumer in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augustin Bălăiță saved Gzpn Timisoara from getting behind. After 25 minutes Gzpn Timisoara's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Isidoro Urko who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Marlin FC's corner Isidoro Urko fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Augustin Bălăiță quite easily take care of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Gzpn Timisoara's goalkeeper Augustin Bălăiță had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelino Baumer. Marcelino Baumer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Augustin Bălăiță made a huge save. The Marlin FC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Marlin FC's Marcelino Baumer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After some careless play in the Gzpn Timisoara defense, Dong Xiong Sang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augustin Bălăiță. The Gzpn Timisoara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augustin Bălăiță should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Yin Yang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustin Bălăiță having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Fernando Ciano got a free kick in the 59th minute. Augustin Bălăiță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fábio das Neves in the 63rd minute of the match. Sabin Tatomir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Janpier having to interfere. Marlin FC's Melchor Oidor was substituted for Fernando Ciano. In the 67thth minute of the game Teobaldo Cilio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gzpn Timisoara's Augustin Bălăiță was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Augustin Bălăiță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dong Xiong Sang in the 69th minute of the match. Anastasio Janpier made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Beniamin Gongola sent off a good shot on target. Augustin Bălăiță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yin Yang in the 79th minute of play. After 82 minutes Gzpn Timisoara's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dong Xiong Sang in the 88th minute of play forced Gzpn Timisoara's goalkeeper Augustin Bălăiță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
