An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Bloom in the 12th minute of play forced Curumalán AFC's goalkeeper 林默鸿 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Esequiel Barco managed to get in a good position for a shot. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Esequiel Barco sped through Key Biscayne FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lonnie Hurley. When Esequiel Barco came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Curumalán AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esequiel Barco couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd match minute, Key Biscayne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Bloom to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Curumalán AFC were awarded a corner. Romulo Ekaitz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Toro Rodriguez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Key Biscayne FC's Lonnie Hurley did a great save. 27 minutes into the game, Esequiel Barco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Lonnie Hurley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Esequiel Barco scored 4-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lonnie Hurley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 42 minutes, Serhat Akın mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curumalán AFC and the Key Biscayne FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Serhat Akın kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Stanton Patten sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 林默鸿 skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Curumalán AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Freddy Mikelats hit a great ball. 林默鸿 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Diz, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Romulo Ekaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Gilmore to make the kick off. Lonnie Hurley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curumalán AFC. 61 minutes into the match, Serhat Akın had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lonnie Hurley. Key Biscayne FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serhat Akın was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Lonnie Hurley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Mikelats, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Curumalán AFC had played much better football throughout.
