In the 15th minute, Amine Pinault left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rathmore Lime Tree fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Alix Geoffray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tosh Higginson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Peter Robson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amine Pinault in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Zak Crocker made a precise shot to the right of Alix Geoffray. Rathmore Lime Tree's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 24 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Newton came free, but Alix Geoffray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alix Geoffray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zak Crocker in the 25th minute of the match. Alix Geoffray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zak Crocker in the 28th minute of play. Hythe United Rangers were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Rathmore Lime Tree's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dylan Crossley took the corner. After 31 played minutes Rathmore Lime Tree got a freekick which was hit by Kilian Fauré. Alix Geoffray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dylan Crossley in the 31st minute of play. Rathmore Lime Tree's Alix Geoffray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tosh Higginson in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tosh Higginson in the 33rd minute of play forced Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Alix Geoffray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alix Geoffray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tosh Higginson, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 47 minutes of play, Hythe United Rangers's Nick Newton made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alix Geoffray was left in no man's land by his defense there!
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toufik Loir to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hythe United Rangers! Peter Robson had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Toufik Loir's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The corner led Rathmore Lime Tree's Benjamin Loth to fire away a dangerous shot which Peter Robson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rathmore Lime Tree's zone, Nick Newton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alix Geoffray came out of the goal and Nick Newton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peter Robson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toufik Loir in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Hythe United Rangers's Dylan Crossley broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Hythe United Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Amine Pinault came free, but Peter Robson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zak Crocker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Alix Geoffray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Zak Crocker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alix Geoffray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goal looked a bit too open when Zak Crocker came free, but Alix Geoffray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 76 minutes, Zak Crocker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hythe United Rangers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zak Crocker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Hythe United Rangers booed when Rathmore Lime Tree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kilian Fauré didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kilian Fauré fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rathmore Lime Tree's protests and gave Kilian Fauré a yellow card for diving instead. After 81 played minutes Rathmore Lime Tree got a freekick which was hit by Kilian Fauré. Tosh Higginson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Alix Geoffray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Lawrence Corbridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alix Geoffray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lance Eyre got free with Alix Geoffray in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute, Tosh Higginson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alix Geoffray. The goal made the score 3-5. Amine Pinault hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Hythe United Rangers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rathmore Lime Tree.
