Húsares's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ubaldo Kismi in the 16th minute. Fabio Quintyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Orlan in the 18th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Florencio Ferran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Húsares's supporters rose to their feet, but Florencio Ferran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Estavan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The corner led Húsares's Ubaldo Kismi to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcial Estavan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florencio Ferran to make the kick off. Marcial Estavan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Ferran in the 52nd minute of the match. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 74 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Ibon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcial Estavan, 1-3. Fabio Quintyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Orlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Húsares's Fabio Quintyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Iratze in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Húsares's Teobaldo Ibon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcial Estavan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabio Quintyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Iratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Dagoberto Neila sped through Húsares's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabio Quintyn. 89 minutes into the match, Húsares's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Orlan came free, but Fabio Quintyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Teobaldo Ibon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Estavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Josué Vargas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcial Estavan. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Josué Vargas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. 97 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcial Estavan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ubaldo Kismi. When the final whistle went the supporters of Húsares were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant INDEPENDIENTE F.C. side.
