The Cuervos AFC fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Cuervos AFC's Stig-Åke Mattsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cachinaoa EC's Dadá Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Sabino in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Eleuterio Rameriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dadá Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dadá Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Sabino in the 16th minute of play. Dadá Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 31st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Stig-Åke Mattsson put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Dadá Costa. 36 minutes into the game, Maximino Illan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Dadá Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dadá Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Maximino Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Gregorio Sabino put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Dadá Costa. After the first half Cuervos AFC were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stig-Åke Mattsson made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 51st minute of play forced Cachinaoa EC's goalkeeper Dadá Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute, Maximino Illan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dadá Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Stig-Åke Mattsson took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Dadá Costa to make any attempt to save it. 60 minutes into the game, Stig-Åke Mattsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dadá Costa. Stig-Åke Mattsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. If Stig-Åke Mattsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig-Åke Mattsson scored 0-12 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dadá Costa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 68 minutes, Eliseu Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cachinaoa EC and the Cuervos AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dadá Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Petrigai, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Eliseu Castro was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 73rd match minute, Cachinaoa EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Castro to maneuver through the defense. Cuervos AFC made a substitution. Timoteo Resto replaced Eleuterio Rameriz. In the 74th match minute, Cachinaoa EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Castro to maneuver through the defense. Dadá Costa came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Cuervos AFC's Maximino Illan. But to his dismay, Maximino Illan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-14. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Maximino Illan put it in 0-15 from a short distance just to the right of Dadá Costa. With a little luck, Cachinaoa EC's Dadá Costa got control of the ball when Maximino Illan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th play minute Stig-Åke Mattsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dadá Costa. 0-16. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Petrigai in the 92nd minute of play forced Cachinaoa EC's goalkeeper Dadá Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dadá Costa made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Maximino Illan sent off a good shot on target.
