After a rather tough play, Daireaux AFC's Cosme Resto got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 3 minutes into the match, Daireaux AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Kromose came free, but Mark Duncan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yulian Kichukov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Mark Duncan made a huge save. Mark Duncan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yulian Kichukov in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, Daireaux AFC's Justino Cayo got a free kick in the 8th minute. Yulian Kichukov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Mark Duncan made a huge save. After 10 minutes, Aquiles Chus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Daireaux AFC and the FC Nordsjælland players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Nordsjælland booed when Daireaux AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Chus didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Daireaux AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Yulian Kichukov came free, but Mark Duncan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Daireaux AFC's goalkeeper Mark Duncan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yulian Kichukov. In the 21st minute Felipe Lucado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Hansen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mark Duncan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yulian Kichukov in the 32nd minute. Mark Duncan made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Conrad Harder sent off a good shot on target. Mark Duncan was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Conrad Harder capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Conrad Harder really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Mark Duncan came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Nordsjælland's Yulian Kichukov. But to his dismay, Yulian Kichukov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With a little luck, Daireaux AFC's Mark Duncan got control of the ball when Yulian Kichukov tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to FC Nordsjælland getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Oliver Villadsen hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, Felipe Lucado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andreas Hansen. FC Nordsjælland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Lucado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conrad Harder was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Artemio Vistruario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yulian Kichukov's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Mark Duncan - 3-1 was put on the score board in the 54th minute. If Felipe Lucado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 59th match minute, Daireaux AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Chus to maneuver through the defense. Aquiles Chus hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Andreas Hansen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Ciano in the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Nordsjælland's zone, Justino Cayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andreas Hansen came out of the goal and Justino Cayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Nordsjælland's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Burbano Palianza scored to the left of an out of position Andreas Hansen, making the score, 3-2. 75 minutes into the game, FC Nordsjælland's Yulian Kichukov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mark Duncan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Justino Cayo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Yulian Kichukov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Nordsjælland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yulian Kichukov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Silas Kromose put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Mark Duncan. Mark Duncan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yulian Kichukov in the 92nd minute of the match. After 96 played minutes FC Nordsjælland got a freekick which was hit by Boye Donsrud. The audience was convinced that Burbano Palianza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andreas Hansen was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. FC Nordsjælland's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
