After 42 minutes of play, Vipos FC's Fidel Jokin made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evstati Kastrev was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Vipos FC's Jimeno Ibar got a free kick in the 47th minute. If Elin Lazarkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elin Lazarkov to make the kick off. Nasos Aquilino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Evstati Kastrev. Sagittarius A-star's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Evstati Kastrev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Jokin, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Vipos FC's Fidel Jokin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nasos Aquilino ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Vipos FC booed when Sagittarius A-star was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerasim Slabakov didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fidel Jokin came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Vipos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Jokin couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, Vipos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elin Lazarkov came free, but Gervasio Ixaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vipos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nasos Aquilino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evstati Kastrev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Castanheira, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Sagittarius A-star's Evstati Kastrev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Castanheira in the 94th minute of play. There was no doubt that Vipos FC were the better team. Vipos FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
