Estrela Vermelha's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Guilherme de Souza scored to the left of an out of position Cido de Medeiros, making the score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme de Souza in the 27th minute of play forced Estrela Vermelha's goalkeeper Cido de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Artur Romero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gwidon Juchno was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Cido de Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Florão da América. In the 72nd minute, Jorge Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Guilherme de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. Dragolyub Chavdarov made a great header on Florão da América's corner, it was just that Estrela Vermelha's Cido de Medeiros managed to reach the ball for a save. Cido de Medeiros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guilherme de Souza went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Jorge Dante hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The supporters of Florão da América booed when Estrela Vermelha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hortêncio Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cido de Medeiros came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Florão da América's Dragolyub Chavdarov. But to his dismay, Dragolyub Chavdarov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0.
