Moises Isauro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Yoel Quevedo made a huge save. 7 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when 康伟斐 came free, but Teodosio Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodosio Iigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 康伟斐, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute Erasmo Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes in the game Primitivo Candamil did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Carlomagno Reina. Teodosio Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Proença in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Tom Hermansson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Niclas Füllkrug hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when 康伟斐 came free, but Teodosio Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to CF Fortuna getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Primitivo Candamil hit a great ball. Teodosio Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Sugoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Proença in the 40th minute of play. CF Fortuna's Yoel Quevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Hermansson in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tom Hermansson to make the kick off. Yoel Quevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Hermansson in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Teodosio Iigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Malcolm Castledine. Teodosio Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Sugoi in the 55th minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the match, Erasmo Proença tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Teodosio Iigo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. CF Fortuna's Yoel Quevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niclas Füllkrug in the 65th minute of play. AZURDUY F.C. made a substitution. Arnaldo Ostots replaced Sun Feng Chen. AZURDUY F.C.'s Manuel Valerio was substituted for Vinicio Venceslao. 72 minutes into the game, one of CF Fortuna:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Yoel Quevedo had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Moises Isauro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Hermansson in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yoel Quevedo saved CF Fortuna from getting behind. Teodosio Iigo was a little too slow when Malcolm Castledine got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Candamil during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, CF Fortuna's Primitivo Candamil got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 90 minutes CF Fortuna's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Moises Isauro who took care of the corner kick. The shot was stopped by Teodosio Iigo but with some difficulty. When the match was over CF Fortuna could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AZURDUY F.C. throughout the match.
