After 14 played minutes Facabora got a freekick which was hit by Jannes Bossuyt. Virgilio Manriquez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nilton Passos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Facabora's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Dannervig came free, but Virgilio Manriquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Facabora's Virgilio Manriquez got control of the ball when Jardel Vaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Virgilio Manriquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Azevedo in the 54th minute of the match. Virgilio Manriquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Facabora fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgilio Manriquez should have stopped the shot. Virgilio Manriquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmārs Bevalds in the 94th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Risca Faca IMT fully deserved thier win.
