An unexpectedly hard shot by Lance Kuch in the 8th minute of play forced FK Mazda Svidník's goalkeeper Stanislav Saktor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zorros del Desierto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lance Kuch in the 9th minute. Lance Kuch made a great header on Zorros del Desierto's corner, it was just that FK Mazda Svidník's Stanislav Saktor managed to reach the ball for a save. 11 minutes into the game, Golo Strojek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Clark Kent. Golo Strojek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Stanislav Saktor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon-Ander Wallffiguer in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 played minutes Zorros del Desierto got a freekick which was hit by Edward Okopny. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Matúš Závodský made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jon-Ander Wallffiguer got free with Stanislav Saktor in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute of the match, Jon-Ander Wallffiguer got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stanislav Saktor was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Jon-Ander Wallffiguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
