In the 16th minute of the match Örjan Åström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Corneliu Giurgiu skillfully saved the ball. In the 19th minute Esequiel Dohrmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Giurgiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by CASEBONNE PROPIEDADES's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Grigore Pârlog was slow to take the kick. During this time CBF Csikszereda's players had a chance to rest. Corneliu Giurgiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafa Borre in the 29th minute. Nicolae Chirnoagă kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, CASEBONNE PROPIEDADES's goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Pârlog came free, but Tommy Lingren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, CBF Csikszereda's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Cristofol came free, but Corneliu Giurgiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudiu Tănăsocă to strike the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Rafa Borre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 54th minute, Juan Barbas made a precise shot to the right of Corneliu Giurgiu. CBF Csikszereda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. CBF Csikszereda's Corneliu Giurgiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Cristofol in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Eliodor Brezeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Cristofol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Corneliu Giurgiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corneliu Giurgiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Cristofol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corneliu Giurgiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Barbas, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. CBF Csikszereda's Corneliu Giurgiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Cristofol in the 77th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Grigore Pârlog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Barbas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Giurgiu having to interfere. Corneliu Giurgiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
