La Gallardeta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Olof Eliasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 16 minutes of play, La Gallardeta's Jan-Olof Eliasson made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Willi Wolters was left in no man's land by his defense there! Willi Wolters made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Jan-Olof Eliasson sent off a good shot on target. THB Herrenalb's Willi Wolters proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save THB Herrenalb from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Curt Nickel during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Curt Nickel hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Willi Wolters came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by La Gallardeta's Clemente Anaya. But to his dismay, Clemente Anaya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After some careless play in the THB Herrenalb defense, Clemente Anaya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Willi Wolters. The THB Herrenalb fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willi Wolters should have stopped the shot. Juan Gotzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willi Wolters having to interfere. A nice corner shot did that Vintilă Guriță got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Willi Wolters quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Juan Gotzon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Willi Wolters firmly grabbed it by the left post. Juan Gotzon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Willi Wolters came out and tried to block the shot, but Juan Gotzon slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 41st minute. When Jan-Olof Eliasson fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Gallardeta's protests and gave Jan-Olof Eliasson a yellow card for diving instead. Ludwig Müntefering fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belchior Saldanha having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

When Jan-Olof Eliasson came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the La Gallardeta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Olof Eliasson couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, THB Herrenalb's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Olof Eliasson came free, but Willi Wolters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Willi Wolters came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by La Gallardeta's Jan-Olof Eliasson. Willi Wolters was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. THB Herrenalb's Willi Wolters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfred Vrede in the 73rd minute of play. Wilfred Vrede scored 10-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Willi Wolters, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
