Zhuo Xuan Yu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villiam Hedbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. August Helinder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Zhuo Xuan Yu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goal looked a bit too open when Villiam Hedbom came free, but Zhuo Xuan Yu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Villiam Hedbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pasha Azizi's late challenge caught a Inter de Chillán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pasha Azizi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Robíño Football Club's Pasha Azizi got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Robíño Football Club's zone, Tobías Izamit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Svante Julin came out of the goal and Tobías Izamit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobías Izamit kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Rickard Erserman made the kick off in the second half. Roberto-Carlos Junior made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Inter de Chillán's Tobías Izamit. Tobías Izamit made in the 54th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Barni Irigoyen immediately put the ball in play. 55 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's Rickard Erserman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Svante Julin narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
