In the 7thth minute of the game Vincent Van Gogh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo La Coruña's Eusebio Ibanez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vincent Van Gogh took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusebio Ibanez. Eusebio Ibanez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Vincent Van Gogh slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eusebio Ibanez. That made the score 2-0 after 11 minutes of play. Eusebio Ibanez made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Bartlomiej Gotfryd sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th match minute, Deportivo La Coruña was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Adán to maneuver through the defense. In the 24thth minute of the game Vincent Van Gogh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo La Coruña's Eusebio Ibanez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 41 played minutes KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ got a freekick which was hit by Franciszek Bycofski. In the 44th minute, Bartlomiej Gotfryd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute of the match Dacio Diaz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filipe Meireles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ekaitz Companys made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Evangelista Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Van Gogh in the 59th minute of play forced Deportivo La Coruña's goalkeeper Eusebio Ibanez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 played minutes Deportivo La Coruña got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Adán. 69 minutes into the game, Deportivo La Coruña's Ekaitz Companys nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filipe Meireles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After having played for 72 minutes, Paolo Cucao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Cucao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute Paolo Cucao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio Ibanez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes Deportivo La Coruña got a freekick which was hit by José Llinares. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo La Coruña's zone, Bartlomiej Gotfryd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebio Ibanez came out of the goal and Bartlomiej Gotfryd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the game, Edgar Winnicki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Eusebio Ibanez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo La Coruña had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
