La gloriosa Acade's Joost Kindermans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peli Zafrilla in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute, La gloriosa Acade's Dieguito Maradona dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoilo Amer in the 22nd minute of play forced La gloriosa Acade's goalkeeper Joost Kindermans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Rosendo Cifuentes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beticostrogodo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosendo Cifuentes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the last second Sven Jansson throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dieguito Maradona in the 35thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 36th minute, Americo Corderun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beticostrogodo's Sven Jansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Beticostrogodo from getting a goal against them. When Peli Zafrilla came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Beticostrogodo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peli Zafrilla couldn't finish the play. In the 46th match minute, Beticostrogodo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peli Zafrilla to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zoilo Amer to make the kick off. Sven Jansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Canor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven Jansson came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by La gloriosa Acade's Dieguito Maradona. But to his dismay, Dieguito Maradona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 94 played minutes La gloriosa Acade got a freekick which was hit by Americo Corderun. La gloriosa Acade walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
