CF Deportivo Ramón:s Waldir Oporto showed great skill when he stopped Bernardo Soares:s penalty. In the 11th minute, Bernardo Soares made a precise shot to the right of Waldir Oporto. CF Deportivo Ramón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Danilo Dionísio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, one of Xapetuba Futebol Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Xapetuba Futebol Clube. 16 minutes into the match, Milton Salazar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Célio do Valle. Xapetuba Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milton Salazar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Milton Salazar in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Célio do Valle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Célio do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Peredes in the 22nd minute of play. Waldir Oporto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Soares in the 25th minute of the match. Bernardo Soares shot a long shot in the 29th minute and a light blocked Waldir Oporto hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-3. 36 minutes into the match, CF Deportivo Ramón's goal looked a bit too open when Aílton Cearense came free, but Waldir Oporto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Célio do Valle made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Milton Salazar sent off a good shot on target. Bernardo Soares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waldir Oporto having to make a save. The CF Deportivo Ramón players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Xapetuba Futebol Clube were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waldir Castillo to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to CF Deportivo Ramón getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jorge Costas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Bernardo Soares got a free kick in the 55th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Hector Peredes in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Aílton Cearense. Milton Salazar kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. CF Deportivo Ramón's Francisco Benavides was substituted for Hugo Ventura. Waldir Oporto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
