The Baby Snakes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. De Kasteelheren were winning 0-2.

Archie Greenwood might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fokke Meijeringh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 53rd minute Archie Greenwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fokke Meijeringh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ron Tomkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harold Rodenboog in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Baby Snakes's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Rodenboog came free, but Ron Tomkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Tudor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fokke Meijeringh having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Baby Snakes's Joel Tudor got a free kick in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inácio Amaral got free with Ron Tomkin in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fokke Meijeringh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Archie Greenwood in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Archie Greenwood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th match minute, De Kasteelheren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Geraets to maneuver through the defense. Baby Snakes made a substitution. Dan Boxall replaced Evaristo Cortez. Fernando Geraets kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Baby Snakes's Ron Tomkin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Baby Snakes from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on De Kasteelheren's corner Fernando Geraets fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ron Tomkin quite easily take care of the ball. After 81 minutes Baby Snakes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fernando Geraets who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Baby Snakes booed when De Kasteelheren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Geraets didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute Archie Greenwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fokke Meijeringh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded De Kasteelheren left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Baby Snakes.
