Cătălin Zota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eric Sillén in the 11th minute. In the 13th match minute, FC Universitatea Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iulian Niță to maneuver through the defense. Cătălin Zota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Alberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes of play, Tekie-Taka's Mikael Bergfeldt made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cătălin Zota was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the game, Jakob Alberg lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Cătălin Zota. Cătălin Zota made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Konstanty Kosowski sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the match, FC Universitatea Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Sillén came free, but Cătălin Zota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Universitatea Craiova's Cătălin Zota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Alberg in the 41st minute of play. FC Universitatea Craiova's Cătălin Zota proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Universitatea Craiova from getting a goal against them. Anton Stănoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Tekie-Taka's Lawrence Sammut proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Tekie-Taka from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Bergfeldt in the 53rd minute of play forced FC Universitatea Craiova's goalkeeper Cătălin Zota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Universitatea Craiova booed when Tekie-Taka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstanty Kosowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Universitatea Craiova's Cătălin Zota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Bergfeldt in the 58th minute of play. Tekie-Taka were furious when Liu Shu Yuan was red carded, 59 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 60th minute of the match, Adrian Ailenei sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Lawrence Sammut showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, FC Universitatea Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Tao Rong Hai came free, but Cătălin Zota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Tekie-Taka's Lawrence Sammut got control of the ball when Adrian Ailenei tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lawrence Sammut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Ailenei, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. A collision led to FC Universitatea Craiova getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Iulian Niță hit a great ball. Luca Ianculescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lawrence Sammut. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luca Ianculescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Lawrence Sammut made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luca Ianculescu in the 83rd minute. Adrian Ailenei hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Henrik Hjortsberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cătălin Zota. FC Universitatea Craiova's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Adrian Ailenei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Lawrence Sammut made a huge save. 90 minutes into the match, Tekie-Taka's goalkeeper Lawrence Sammut had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Pânzariu. In the 93rd minute Tao Rong Hai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Zota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Sillén took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cătălin Zota. Cătălin Zota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Tekie-Taka were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Universitatea Craiova for a fine match.
