Yala's Carolo Bizen got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Amnon Mitta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeledon Curcio was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After 35 minutes of play, Kiryat Gat's Jared Wolfman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Curcio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th match minute, Kiryat Gat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Murphy to maneuver through the defense. Carolo Bizen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Bonifacio Paez made a huge save. Zeledon Curcio came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Kiryat Gat's Amnon Mitta. But to his dismay, Amnon Mitta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 44 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Amnon Mitta came free, but Zeledon Curcio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Curcio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amnon Mitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Hats could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Bonifacio Paez made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jared Wolfman to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Zeledon Curcio managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Kiryat Gat's Amnon Mitta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Amnon Mitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yala's Zeledon Curcio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Yala from getting a goal against them. Zeledon Curcio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zeledon Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yachil Givati, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the match was over Kiryat Gat could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Yala throughout the match.
