Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Wolf's Vito Veloso in the 78th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Bartolo Fernendo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Wolves through an amazing save. Doriva Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walmyr Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Bartolo Fernendo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolf. In the 91st minute Doriva Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Fernendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Wolf's Vito Veloso seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vito Veloso the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Wolf protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vito Veloso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Vito Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Doriva Dante came free, but Bartolo Fernendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
