Battal Seyyit Bedel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Primo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The supporters of Kurfalı SK booed when Elpobre toma sidraTUNUYAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Sabina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliver Kahn made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Edoardo Pelliccia sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute Kurfalı SK were awarded a corner. Edoardo Pelliccia went to the cornerflag to take it. Oliver Kahn came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kurfalı SK's Edoardo Pelliccia. But to his dismay, Edoardo Pelliccia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ahmet Çağrı Riayet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Oliver Kahn made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ahmet Çağrı Riayet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oliver Kahn. That made the score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Blajin in the 34th minute of play forced Kurfalı SK's goalkeeper Battal Seyyit Bedel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Halil Can İhtiyar kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Elpobre toma sidraTUNUYAN's Oliver Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Elpobre toma sidraTUNUYAN from getting a goal against them. Oliver Kahn made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Edoardo Pelliccia sent off a good shot on target. Joaquin Sabina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Tolga Oğuralp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 52nd match minute, Elpobre toma sidraTUNUYAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iulian Ciuvică to maneuver through the defense. Edoardo Pelliccia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Çağrı Riayet struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Oliver Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kurfalı SK. In the 78th minute Halil Can İhtiyar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Battal Seyyit Bedel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mihai Blajin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 80 minute of play. Elpobre toma sidraTUNUYAN's Luciano Santin was substituted for Mihai Blajin. 84 minutes into the match, Kurfalı SK's goalkeeper Battal Seyyit Bedel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquin Sabina. After 95 played minutes, Kurfalı SK's Edoardo Pelliccia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oliver Kahn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kurfalı SK reached it. Battal Seyyit Bedel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Inguma in the 96th minute of play. Kurfalı SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
