Willian Pay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sten Naredi having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Hunters Bytom's zone, Humberto Urtsin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sten Naredi came out of the goal and Humberto Urtsin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th match minute, Aves Negras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezar Ciorogaru to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Willian Pay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sten Naredi. Hunters Bytom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Willian Pay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Sten Naredi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willian Pay, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Willian Pay put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sten Naredi. Tomasz Borek's late challenge caught a Aves Negras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomasz Borek helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hunters Bytom getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Tomasz Borek hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute Willian Pay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Naredi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomasz Borek hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Aves Negras made a substitution. Aaron Gallagher replaced Giovani Lo Celso. Aves Negras's Clarence Seedorf was substituted for Humberto Urtsin. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Willian Pay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Willian Pay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sten Naredi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute of the match Aves Negras got a corner. Hunters Bytom's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucas Rodriguez ran over to the corner to take the kick. 59 minutes into the match, Aves Negras's goal looked a bit too open when 钱珂辰 came free, but Marcial Bakar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Willian Pay made a precise shot to the right of Sten Naredi. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Willian Pay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aves Negras's supporters rose to their feet, but Willian Pay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sten Naredi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aves Negras's Efrain Artal was substituted for Willian Pay. The Aves Negras fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Aves Negras's Efrain Artal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Aves Negras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Markus Löfgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. After a rather tough play, Hunters Bytom's Tomasz Borek got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Sten Naredi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Artal in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawid Olejarz in the 97th minute of play forced Aves Negras's goalkeeper Marcial Bakar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 98 played minutes Hunters Bytom got a freekick which was hit by Tomasz Borek. The Aves Negras supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Aves Negras would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
