A sloppy throw-in by Memet Droga in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pilot's Lakhdar Sam. 42 minutes into the match, Pilot's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá Maravilha came free, but Rüştü Ülgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 61st match minute, Pilot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lakhdar Sam to maneuver through the defense.
