Sevigné Musguito's Melchor Piarres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Emil Blomkvist in the 21st minute of play. Zeledon Sandalio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Glenn Danzig made a huge save. In the 30th minute Leo Ebardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Danzig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes, Frank Thorwart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ☠ Metal Militia ☠ and the Sevigné Musguito players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Cayetano Calisto fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sevigné Musguito's protests and gave Cayetano Calisto a yellow card for diving instead. Nils-Emil Blomkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils-Emil Blomkvist to make the kick off. Sevigné Musguito's Melchor Piarres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Sevigné Musguito from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Nils-Emil Blomkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melchor Piarres was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Pier Meyer was slow to take the kick. During this time ☠ Metal Militia ☠'s players had a chance to rest. Sevigné Musguito's Justino Dantae got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 79 played minutes Sevigné Musguito got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Vistruario. Melchor Piarres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Emil Blomkvist in the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to ☠ Metal Militia ☠ getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Derrick Green hit a great ball. Glenn Danzig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Duardo in the 93rd minute of play.
