Gustaw Cichewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thanos Sapalidis in the 17th minute of the match. Roman Rollins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Mede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Moreira AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Thanos Sapalidis came free, but Gustaw Cichewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teo Rolado struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Roman Rollins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moreira AFC. 27 minutes into the match, Thanos Sapalidis notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Moreira AFC's Gustaw Cichewski. Gustaw Cichewski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gustaw Cichewski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Gustaw Cichewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thanos Sapalidis in the 61st minute of play. Gustaw Cichewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jason Stuart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanos Sapalidis took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustaw Cichewski. Gustaw Cichewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 66 minutes into the match, Moreira AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Thanos Sapalidis came free, but Gustaw Cichewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ernie Dixon came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernie Dixon couldn't finish the play. Boca Juniors's Brian Herget got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Quentin Bullard replaced Thanos Sapalidis. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Moreira AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rich Jean was slow to take the kick. During this time Boca Juniors's players had a chance to rest. After 78 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Tristan Mansfield. 79 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Mede came free, but Roman Rollins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cornelio Mede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaw Cichewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitinho Diniz in the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Vitinho Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Cichewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaw Cichewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quentin Bullard in the 90th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quentin Bullard in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustaw Cichewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute Boca Juniors were awarded a corner. Rich Jean went to the cornerflag to take it. There was no doubt that Boca Juniors were the better team. Boca Juniors's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
