The supporters of Sportivo Sernova booed when Gladiators of Darkness was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hayyam Öznur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Gladiators of Darkness's Berat Baliç got a free kick in the 17th minute. Everardo Horado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ove Nordström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Helge Hedström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31stth minute of the game Ildefonso Abel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gladiators of Darkness's Ove Nordström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Inocencio Egoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ove Nordström was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. 34 minutes into the match, Gladiators of Darkness's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Egoi came free, but Ove Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ildefonso Abel in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ove Nordström saved Gladiators of Darkness from getting behind. Inocencio Egoi scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ove Nordström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ziemowit Bendyk to strike the kick off in the second half. If Waldemar Ruszkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
